Same Day Fabrication

Once we capture the perfect scan, a digital file is sent to a CAD/CAM milling machine where the orthotic is milled out of the appropriate density EVA block. Surefoot Orthotics are crafted and ready for use in under an hour.

Activity Specific

We’re able to alter the foot scan to match any activity and ski boot or shoe shape. High-impact sports require softer density materials for added cushion, while low-impact activities benefit from denser support.

Surefoot Comfort for every shoe

Bike

Cycling is a sport where technical demands often rival the physical. While many seek advantages in advanced frames or drag-reducing material, riders frequently overlook personal care in favor of gear upgrades. Surefoot Custom Bike Orthotics prioritize the rider, aligning the foot and ankle’s strongest bones to optimize power and stability.

Run

From training for marathons or leisurely neighborhood jogs, every step sends an impact through your feet. It’s crucial to have proper support and cushion to reduce fatigue and prevent injuries. Combine proper running technique, carefully selected running shoes, and Surefoot Custom Run Orthotics to enhance your runs.

Golf

Surefoot Custom Golf Orthotics stack and align the bones of the foot in their strongest position, sub talar neutral. This neutral position is the starting place for providing proper alignment and support for your entire body. In golf, a stable platform and a balanced stance are the most effective ways to ensure a consistent, powerful swing. Guaranteed comfort throughout your game.

General Use + health

If your job keeps you on your feet—be it styling hair, walking around in stiff dress shoes, or working on a construction site—Surefoot Orthotics can improve your comfort and overall well-being. Pain in the back, hips, knees, ankles, or even shoulders often stems from inadequate foot support. For instance, a collapsing arch can lead to inward knee rotation, forward-tilted hips, and an exaggerated lower back arch. With Surefoot Custom Orthotics, your feet are properly supported so they can support you.

Our Process

Custom Orthotic Fabrication

We begin by scanning your feet with our proprietary pressure-sensitive scanner which measures your foot in 538 precise locations, crafting a detailed, three-dimensional topographical representation of the bottom of your foot. The digital blueprint of your foot is then sent to an advanced orthotic fabrication machine. Solid pieces of raw ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) are then milled to your exact digitally rendered measurements using an advanced three-axis CAD/CAM milling machine. The final step is a meticulous, hand-guided trimming by our skilled experts, fine-tuning the orthotic to align flawlessly with your footwear shape.

Such knowledgeable staff. My partner got custom made orthotics for his ski boots and we were both really impressed with the entire process. They have up to date precise technology and orthotics are made within 30 mins! He needed an adjustment a few days later and they happily accommodated. He has already noticed significantly less pain in his feet while skiing. Would highly recommend.

FAQs

Can I use my ski orthotics in my running shoes?
No. We advise against using your ski orthotics in running shoes due to the differing densities of the EVA material. High-impact sports like running need orthotics with softer materials for cushioning and injury prevention. In contrast, low-impact sports like skiing and biking benefit from denser orthotics for better support and control. Using the correct orthotic for each activity ensures maximum comfort and performance.

Yes, an initial in-store visit is essential for us to capture your foot's unique data with our specialized scanning technology. Unfortunately, there's no alternative to this process. But once we have your scan, you can order additional pairs anytime. If visiting a store isn't possible, consider our over-the-counter Conforma Insoles, available here.

The lifespan of custom orthotics can vary based on factors like usage frequency, individual size, and activity intensity. For instance, orthotics tend to last longer for those with high arch, rigid feet compared to those with low arch, hyper-mobile feet.
