Vail Village, Colorado — Since 1995
Expert custom ski boot fitting in the heart of Vail Village. Steps from Gondola One on Bridge Street.
Vail Village
Our Vail Village location sits at the top of Bridge Street, between the Bridge Street Fountain and Gondola One. You walk in, get fitted, walk out, and load onto the lift. No ski boot shop in Vail is closer to the mountain.
We've been fitting boots in Vail since 1995. In that time we've fit everyone from first-day beginners to FIS World Cup racers to 70-year-old guests who thought their skiing days were over until we got them into the right boot. Vail attracts the most demanding skiers on the planet. We take that seriously.
Every fitting starts with a full foot scan using our proprietary 538-point pressure mapping system. Your data is sent to our in-house fabrication machine, which mills a custom orthotic to the exact contour of your foot — while you wait. Most fittings take 45–60 minutes. We guarantee the fit.
The Fitting
Meet the Manager
Jason and co-founder Russ Shay run the Vail location. They and their team of career boot fitters live here, ski here, and know this mountain as well as anyone. Questions about a fitting, group bookings, or anything specific to Vail — Jason is your contact.
How to Find Us
We're at 278 Hanson Ranch Rd — at the top of Bridge Street, between the Bridge Street Fountain and Gondola One. If you're walking up Bridge Street from the village, we're on your left just before the lift base. You'll pass us on your way to the mountain every morning.
Nearest landmarks: Lodge at Vail and Christiania Hotel are directly adjacent. The Gondola One base terminal is steps away. Parking is available at the Vail Village Parking Structure on S. Frontage Rd — about a 5-minute walk through the village.
The Mountain
Vail is the second largest single-mountain ski resort in North America. 5,317 acres. 278 trails. 3,450 feet of vertical. The Back Bowls alone cover more terrain than most entire resorts.
Terrain like this demands equipment that performs from first chair to last. The skiers who come to Vail expect to perform. We fit them accordingly.
