Most foot scanners are flat, so they can only measure pressure against a hard surface; they never feel your foot's true form. That combined picture is what lets us mill an insole that matches your foot exactly.

Conforma matches your arch with one of three profiles — low, medium, or high — shaped by 3.5 million+ foot scans; a narrow Stretta fit is also available as a standalone insole. Custom is a one-of-a-kind orthotic milled from a precise scan of your feet, matching every contour exactly.

In a Surefoot shoe, both are milled to order into a blank cut to that shoe — custom from your scan, Conforma from your arch profile — and finished with a top sheet matched to the shoe. Think of it this way: Conforma fits your arch type. Custom fits your feet.

Generic shoes are built for an average foot, with a thin foam insole as an afterthought. Surefoot Shoes are designed from the start around real support — a custom milled orthotic, or a Conforma insole matched to your arch — so the shoe and the insole work as one system, not a retrofit.

Every online order — including shoes bundled with custom orthotics — is covered by our 30-day wear test: wear them, and if they're not right, return them within 30 days for a full refund of the product price.
